Seaford Crown F.C. - Folding
It is with great sadness that I regret to inform you that Seaford Crown Football Club has folded as of the 11th September 2007.
After a meeting last night (10/09/07) it was decided that in the best interest of all parties that Seaford Crown F.C. will be withdrawing from the Lewes and District Sunday League and officially folding as a Sunday League football club.
I have been involved with the club for the last 3 years now and have enjoyed every moment involved with it and would like to say thank you to the people who made it possible. Alot of people don't realise the hard work that goes on behind the scenes and this hard work should be congratulated and us, as players, should be thankful to the people who done the work nobody wants to do. If it weren't for them, SCFC would not have been as successful as it has been throughout these last 3 years. As management, backroom staff and players we can all look back and be proud of our achievements for the club, but I think the biggest achievement was the fact we just went out thre and enjoyed it, and for the larger part was at one with pub and football club. As has been mentioned in a text from Holmesy, we have all enjoyed some great times as a Sunday league team, footballing and non footballing. I've had a great laugh guys and would just like to say thanks to everyone for making it the enjoyable experience it has been.
For the last time, Fernando Torres signing out !
